This term has been really exciting because we have once again been able to compete in sports against other schools.
There have been many sporting events. The school football team has started back up again and we are really enjoying playing as a team. So far, we have played four league games this season and one cup game. Our cup game against William Shrewsbury finished 3 – 1 to us so we have moved through to the next round. In the league, we have had the following results –
Richard Crosse 6 – Richard Wakefield
Richard Crosse 3 – 3 Rykneld
Richard Crosse 3 – 5 John of Rolleston
Richard Crosse 0 – 3 William Shrewsbury
The football team also took part in a 6-aside tournament at Shobnal Leisure centre. We won one game, drew one and lost one.
The girls football team have had their first match this half term. The score was Richard Crosse 1 – 5 John of Rolleston but we really enjoyed playing and cannot wait for our next game.
We also took part in a tag rugby tournament at Burton Rugby Club. It was such a good event and we played on the actual rugby pitch next to the stands. During the tournament, we won one game, drew one and lost one.
