This week, in Class 3, we have recapped how to use inverted commas and fronted adverbials which really helped when writing our own stories set in a different culture linked to our topic book ‘Cinnamon’. In Maths, Year 3s recognised halves and quarters whilst Year 4s explored hundredths as a decimal. We started our Science topic this week learning about electricity. We explored all of the electrical items we have in school and then grouped them into powered by mains or batteries, we learnt how to be safe around electricity, how to make electrical circuits and switches and carry out an experiment to find out whether materials are insulators or conductors. A fantastic week Class 3, well done!
