Spring 2 - Week 6

We have had lots of fun this week in Class 2.

We went to St Mary’s and joined with the other schools for a day all about the Great Fire of London. We made Tudor house, had a go at lighting fires in the forest school, dressed up and took part in role plays, and made flatbreads.

We were little superstars at our school Easter Service in Church, we sat really nicely and sang beautifully and didn’t complain at all when it rained on our walk back to school.

Thursday afternoon saw us running around the show field with the rest of the school on an Easter Egg hunt. We had so much fun and worked really hard to find the lollipop stick in our team colours. Even the rain shower didn’t dampen our spirits. 

We have talked lots about Holy Week in our class and we understand what Easter is all about for Christians, but we are also hoping that the Easter Bunny might pay us visit over the holidays. We are keen to have a rest over the next two weeks so that we can come back to school ready for some exciting new learning.
