We’ve had a fantastic last week of term in Class 3. On Thursday, we celebrated The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee as a whole school. It was a lovely day where we made crowns, decorated plates, sang songs, picnicked together and celebrated the reign of our wonderful Queen. In English, we wrote our own adventure stories in the style of the author Ted Hughes. We definitely have some aspiring authors in Class 3! In Maths, Year 3 have been ordering and comparing fractions whilst Year 4 have been adding and subtracting money. In Art, we researched famous water colour artists such as Vincent Van Gogh and Georgie O’Keefe and evaluated their use of tints, tones and shading. Overall, a great week. Have a lovely half term break and I look forward to seeing you back at school in June.
