Summer Term 2 - Week 1

It’s been a fantastic first week back to school in Class 3! We have enjoyed starting our new English topic learning how to write instructions and we are using the book ‘How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth’. Throughout the week, we’ve learnt how to use powerful verbs, adverbs and subordinate clauses in our instruction sentences. In Maths, Year 3 have been learning how to tell the time and Year 4 have been using the four operations to solve money problems. We have had a huge focus on history this week and our topic is learning about Prehistoric Britain. It’s been fascinating learning when the world was created, how early humans have evolved, which animals roamed Britain and the three stone age periods. Overall, a great week of learning. Well done Class 3!
