Autumn 2 Week 2

This week, in English, we have continued our work on Little Red Riding Hood. Year 1 have focussed upon writing sentences with capital letters, finger spaces and full stops and Year 2 have written a range of different types of sentences, including question and exclamation. In Maths, we have been focussing really hard upon addition and subtraction skills and have used equipment to help us solve the calculations. In the afternoons, we have started to practise our Christmas play and some of the songs. Miss Derry was very proud of us at the war memorial today. We sang Make Me a Channel of your Peace and took part in the two minute silence.
