Autumn 2 Week 5

We were super excited to get a very special present in the post on Tuesday. We opened the huge box that came into the classroom and out popped all of the Monster phonics teddies! A big thank you to Monster Phonics for our wonderful gift! They have already joined us in our phonics lessons and listened to us read during guided reading. In Maths, we have come to the end of our work on shape. We had fun making different patterns with 2D and 3D shapes. In English, we had to follow instructions to make snowmen from play-dough. We had fun doing it but realised very quickly that to be successful our instructions needed to be very specific!! We have spent lots of time rehearsing our Nativity play and even got to do it in our costumes this week! We can’t wait to perform it next Tuesday. Spending time at the Christmas Fayre has been a great ending to another very busy week!
