Spring Term 1 - Week 2

This week, in Class 3, we have been writing sentences to describe mythical creatures. To enhance our sentences, we have been using a range of adjectives to create expanded noun phrases. In Maths, we have been multiplying 2 digits by 1 digit numbers using formal written methods such as the column method and part whole models. In Science, we carried out an experiment to explore which materials would work best for soundproofing. There were lots of scientific questions being asked and we discussed if our experiment was a fair test. As well as this, we created our own musical instruments to explore how we could change the pitch and tone of sounds. A brilliant week Class 3, well done!
