What a fantastic first week back after half term! Well done Class 3 for returning to school with a great attitude to learning. This week in English, we have started learning how to write persuasive letters. Firstly, we explored the features of a persuasive letter such as the address, date, salutation and many persuasive writing features. Our writing outcome is to write a letter to a famous author to persuade them to visit Richard Crosse to help promote the love of reading. In Maths, Year 3 have moved onto the topic Fractions where they have been understanding unit and non-unit fractions. Year 4 have been converting between improper and mixed number fractions. In Science, we enjoyed practically learning about the digestive system. In addition to our learning, we have been practising for our Easter production. Overall a great first week back!
