Summer Term 1 Week 5

This week in History we have been learning about Sarah Forbes Bonetta. We have researched who she was, sequenced events of her life and discussed why she is a significant person in history. In Maths, Year 2 have started to learn how to tell the time. They have revised o’clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to times and are starting to look at times to the nearest 5 minutes. Year 1 have continued their work on fractions, recognising 1/2 of amounts and shapes. We are really excited about half term and are hoping that the sun shines whilst we are off!
