Summer Term 2 - Week 5

This week, in Class 3, we have enjoyed reading more of our focus book ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’. We are all really invested in the story and can’t wait to see what happens next! Firstly, we answered comprehension questions about Chapter 1 and then used expanded noun phrases to describe the White Witch. Class 3 wrote fantastic character descriptions of the White Witch using high level vocabulary and a range of prepositional phrase. In Maths, Year 3 have moved onto statistics and have learnt how to interpret pictograms whilst Year 4 have been plotting coordinates on a grid. In RE, we compared the differences and similarities between a Christian pilgrimage to Lourdes and a Jewish pilgrimage to Jerusalem. In Art, we researched the work of Benoy and creatively displayed his work in a mood board. Well done Class 3 for a brilliant week!
