What a busy first week back we have had! The children have settled back into school really well and have been a pleasure to teach. The sun has been shining lots so we have made the most of it and spent a lot of time outdoors. All of our work this week has been based around the book ‘ Flower Power’ by Caroline Wedd. We loved reading the story and we’re especially happy at the end when the little flower turned into the most beautiful flower that anyone had ever seen! On Thursday the author actually came into school and we got to ask her lots of questions about her book. We have had a great first week back and are looking forward to seeing what next week brings!
