Summer Term 1-Week 1- Class 2

We have loved being back at school this week! The highlight of the week was getting to go over to the cricket field and being shown how to play cricket properly. We got to have a go at both fielding and batting skills. In our English lessons we at using the story of Grandad’s Island to do some descriptive writing. We have had a go at using interesting adjectives and writing noun phrases. Miss Derry has been very proud of some of the writing that we have been doing. In Geography, we have recapped our knowledge of the seven continents and five oceans of the world and learnt about the equator. Some of us couldn’t decide whether we’d like to live near the equator or not. It has been a very busy first week back!
