It has been another wonderful week in Class 4. We have made great progres in learning the words and choreography to our show's musical numbers. I have been extremely impressed by the commitment and talent on show.

When we are not practising for our play, we have been very busy learning decimals in maths (more specifically, adding and subtracting decimals with the same number of decimal places). Additionally, in English, we wrote a descriptive setting based on an image of the ocean during a storm. The quality and quantuty of the figurative language was extremely commendable. We also began our next English topic based on a discussion text. Our first lesson involved a fierce debate on whether or not Zoos are a good thing. Both sides showed great debate etiquette which enabled a plethora of thought-provoking ideas to be shared.

In Geography, we used Atlases to mark trade routes of imports to the United Kingdom from all around the world. This led to discussions about globalisation and the world economy. In RSE lessons we discussed the changes that happen during puberty and how we can support those around us when our emotions are inbalanced.
