What an exciting week it has been. We have been extremely busy! In ENglish we have published our fantastic newspaper reports by using all the required organisational features and presenting them beautifully. Mrs Gethin was particularly impressed by some excellent examples. In Maths, we have begun our Shape unit by looking at classifying angles, and using a potractor to measure them.
In Science, we have explored refraction and what that entails. Our history unit based on the ancient Maya continued with a lesson exploring how their society is structured in a pyramid hierachy.
On top of all this, we have love an enegetic Sports Day that was blessed with ideal weather and was enjoyed by many.
On Friday, we had our RC Book Day and many dressed up as their favourite book character. Our Year 6 librarians organised and led fantastic activities throughout the day including drama, drawing and quizes.
