What an absolutely action-packed week we have had in Class 3! We kicked things off on Monday with a fantastic Maths Day, where the children became geometry experts by learning how to translate (slide) shapes across a grid, before burning off some energy in the afternoon during a high-energy street dance workshop with a visitor from Progressive Sports. On Tuesday, the children showed incredible team spirit and resilience during Sports Day, working together in their houses to compete in the javelin, shot put, standing long jump, and track sprints. The sporting theme continued into a very warm Wednesday, where everyone displayed fantastic technique and determination as we practiced maintaining a tennis rally over a net. Finally, on Thursday, we enjoyed being a wonderful audience for Class 4's summer play dress rehearsal and put on our author hats to carefully edit a paragraph of our own stories, which were beautifully inspired by our class book, 'A Stone for Sascha'. I am incredibly proud of the children's hard work, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout this busy week!
