What an energetic and action-packed week we have had in Class 3! It has been an extraordinarily active few days, starting with a brilliant effort at the trust cross-country tournament against other schools, where our runners competed with fantastic determination and even edged into first and second place—we could not be prouder of everyone who took part. Back in PE, we explored how to measure fitness by taking part in a series of fitness tests, using our results to identify our personal strengths and target areas for improvement. Inside the classroom, our learning was just as dynamic: in Maths, we explored and estimated numbers up to 10,000 on a number line, while in English, we sharpened our speech punctuation and expanded noun phrases while performing in role to empathise deeply with story characters. In Science, we measured light and predicted which materials would reflect the most light, and during PSHE, we focused on making positive connections with others and understanding our personal boundaries. Rounding off a fantastic week, we considered what type of person Noah was in RE and practiced friendly French greetings such as Bonjour, Bonsoir, and Bonne nuit.
