What an action-packed end to the week we have had in Class 3! In English, we kicked off our new topic by preparing to write newspaper reports on the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, exploring real newspapers to identify key features while practicing how to order events, write quotes, and use the third person. Over in Maths, everyone took a shine to column addition as we practiced adding two-digit numbers across 10, 100, and 1000. In Art, our Year 4 pupils finished putting their Ancient Egyptian designs onto papyrus paper, while in Science, we carried out an investigation to see how shadows change the further away an object moves from a light source. During PE, we focused on developing our speed and put our skills to the test with some energetic 3v1s in football. Finally, we rounded off the day by taking time to focus on our mental health, reflecting on how we can celebrate ourselves and appreciate our unique individual qualities.
