Richard Crosse Primary, in partnership with it’s Health and Safety provider, Elite Safety in Education, were pleased to present a brand new bike to Year 6 Junior Health & Safety Officer, Louie Bartram this week.
Louie was appointed Junior Health & Safety Officer in September this year, the first person to hold the position within Richard Crosse. As part of his duties, he is required to survey the school each month, and complete a H&S checklist. This is sent back to Elite for review and entered into a prize draw.
Lucky Louie was October’s winner, and the proud recipient of a brand new bike, presented to him at the weekly Achievement Worship in front of his parents, the Headteacher Miss Jarrett, and the CEO Mr Lovern.
Mr Lovern said “it’s lovely to see our Year 6 children undertaking these positions of responsibility, which give them skills they can take with them into the wider world. Louie has done a fabulous job, and is a worthy winner”
Miss Jarrett said “Louie took on this job with his usual commitment and hard work ethic, and it’s great to see him rewarded in this way.”
