Miss Jarrett, the staff and pupils were congratulated in the Minister's letter on the very high standard of achievement demonstrated in the writing and mathematics Key Stage 2 assessments last year.
The school's results, as published on 13 December, show that 100 per cent of pupils reached or exceeded the expected standard in writing and mathematics at the end of Key Stage 2. This means that for achievement in writing and mathematics, The Richard Crosse Cof E Primary School is in the top 1 per cent of primary schools in the country.
The letter continues with a "Thank you" for the work in continuing the drive towards higher academic standards, and congratulates Miss Jarrett and the staff again for their commitment and success.
