Today our Year 6 children and members of our church helped the whole school to make Christingles ready for our service on Thursday. We love seeing all of the children working together. The Year 6's even explained what each part of the Christingle was to the younger children as they were making them. Do you know what they are? - The orange represents the world. - The red ribbon (or tape) symbolises the love and blood of Christ. - The sweets and dried fruit represent all of God's creations. - The lit candle represents Jesus's light in the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.
