Class 2's Wild and Wonderful Outdoor Learning Day! Brrr! It was chilly, but the sun was shining, and Class 2 had the absolute best time being the very first class to enjoy our brand new outdoor learning area! We were so excited to get out of the classroom and into the fresh air. Our adventure began with a bit of hard work – and teamwork! We rolled up our sleeves and got busy clearing fallen branches, making a path so we could explore our special outdoor area. It was amazing to see everyone working together! Then, with those very same branches, we put our engineering skills to the test and built some fantastic dens. Some were tall, some were wide, but all were brilliant! We really showed off our brilliant team spirit. Next up, it was time for a treasure hunt! We had to use our super-sleuthing skills and solve tricky clues hidden around the area. It wasn’t just about finding the treasure, though. We had to use our scientific brains to work out the special word of the day. It was a real challenge, but Class 2 rose to the occasion! We also took some time to appreciate the beautiful nature around us. We listened to the birds singing, felt the cool breeze on our faces, and took a close look at all the different plants and trees. We even had a mini art competition, drawing nature pictures inspired by our surroundings. We saw some amazing drawings, and it was clear everyone was really inspired by the natural world. It was a busy day, filled with lots of fun and learning. We were all very tired by the time the end of the day came, but we went home with smiles on our faces and lots of amazing memories. Class 2 were fantastic, and we can’t wait to see what adventures the other classes have on their outdoor learning days! A big thank you to everyone who helped make our outdoor area and learning day so special!
