Wow! What an amazing day Class 2 had at the National Space Centre! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were transported to another world (or should we say, another universe?!). Our budding astronauts were absolutely buzzing with excitement as they explored the fascinating exhibits. We saw real rockets, learned about the planets in our solar system, and even discovered what it's like to live on the International Space Station. There were so many interactive games and displays that kept everyone entertained and learning without even realising it! We particularly loved trying to land the Eagle lunar module – it was much harder than it looks! The highlight of the trip, though, had to be the planetarium show. We reclined back in our seats and were whisked away on a breathtaking journey through the cosmos. The incredible visuals and captivating commentary made us feel like we were actually floating among the stars. We learned about constellations, distant galaxies, and the mysteries of black holes. It was truly out of this world! A huge thank you to the National Space Centre for such a memorable and educational experience. Class 2 are now full of space-themed questions and eager to learn even more about the universe. Who knows, maybe we have some future astronauts in our midst!
