As part of Clean Air Day 2024, our whole school decided on places around the village where we would like to investigate how much air pollution there is. Eco Club have been out and about today, putting up our pollution catchers! We will collect them in 2 weeks time and analyse the results. For more information about Clean Air Day, air pollution, the impact it has on us, our planet and the positive action we can take, click on https://www.awarenessdays.com/awareness-days-calendar/national-clean-air-day-2024/ On Tuesday July 2nd we collected our air pollution catchers in. Unfortunately the one in the showfield looks like it has blown away and the one on the MUGA had fallen to the ground, so we had to discount these results. What do you think to the rest of our results? Which one would you have predicted to be the most polluted? The catcher on the A515 was the most polluted. Can you think why this would be? What factors would affect this? What do you think we could do as humans to try and create less air pollution in our world?
