Today, all of Class 4 had an exceptional day at Curborough Sprint Track to race our Greenpower electric vehicles. It was a huge event with a total of 50 teams and cars participating. Our pupils had a great deal of fun and were brilliantly behaved throughout the event. The morning consisted of sprint and slalom races where our pupils had to test their driving abilities by accelerating and stopping within a distance, manoeuvring around cones and parking within a box. In the afternoon, there was a time trial race in which our pupils raced head-to-head with another car whilst being timed. What an amazing experience for all of our year 5 and 6 pupils!
