This week, the highlight of our learning journey was undoubtedly our Great Fire of London Day. It was an unforgettable experience as we joined forces with KS1 across the entire school mat. Together, we delved into history and explored the events of 1666 in a unique and interactive way. We were mesmerized by a captivating performance by a theatre company, which brought the story of the Great Fire to life right before our eyes. But the excitement didn't end there! We rolled up our sleeves and got creative as we constructed miniature houses. And guess what? We even set fire to them (safely, of course!) to witness the stark differences between the bustling modern streets and the fiery chaos of 17th-century London. It was an exhilarating and eye-opening experience for all of us, filled with laughter, learning, and lots of fun!
