What an absolutely fantastic day we had at our annual PTA Summer Fayre, held on the cricket field straight after Sports Day! The sun shone brightly and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as families gathered for an afternoon of fun and games. A huge shout-out goes to our amazing Year 5 and 6 children, who did an incredible job leading many of the stalls. Their enthusiasm was infectious, whether they were helping you "splat the rat," challenging you to "beat the goalie," or orchestrating the hilarious space hopper races. Of course, all the classics were there too, including hook a duck and the ever-popular inflatable bouncy castles. We even had some thrilling axe throwing for the braver among us! This year's fayre also saw the debut of a brand-new event that proved to be a massive hit: the teachers vs. children tug-of-war! Both teams showed a fierce competitive edge, pulling with all their might, but it was all in good fun and created some truly memorable moments. The air was filled with laughter and cheers throughout the day, making it clear that everyone had a wonderful time. A massive well done and heartfelt thank you to our incredible PTA for their tireless hard work in organizing such a brilliant event, and to everyone who attended and supported the fayre. Your participation truly made it a roaring success!
