On Friday, June 27th, Richard Crosse School was abuzz with excitement as we celebrated our annual Book Day, a truly fantastic day dedicated to fostering a love for reading! This special event was conceived, planned and brilliantly executed by our dedicated Year 6 Librarians, who demonstrated leadership and creativity throughout. The morning kicked off with engaging quizzes, meticulously tailored by our librarians for each class based on books they had read throughout the year. This thoughtful preparation ensured every student felt included and challenged. In the afternoon, the librarians, demonstrating fantastic teamwork, split into groups to lead interactive drawing and drama activities across the school, bringing beloved stories to life in vivid and imaginative ways. The grand finale saw the entire school gather in the hall, a vibrant display of wonderful costumes, to celebrate the day's events. Our Librarians had the esteemed task of nominating winners from the drama and drawing activities, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already memorable day. It was a day that truly underscored our collective love for reading and showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our Year 6 Librarians.
