Spring Term 2 - Week 4

This week, in Class 3, we have been taste tasting Sicilian food in English to help us write effective sentences about Italian cuisine. It was a very fun lesson! Some children even found out that they liked new foods… even olives! In Maths, Year 3 have been finding and measuring the perimeter of rectangles. Year 4 have been finding fractions of certain amounts. We have learnt a fun way to do this… divide by the bottom, times by the top! In Science, we have been exploring the effect certain drinks have on our teeth by carrying out an experiment using eggs and different liquids. We used eggs because the shell is similar to the enamel on our teeth. Friday was great fun because we dressed up as our very own superhero to raise money for Red Nose Day. We had Super Chicken Nugget Boy, Combat girl, Unicorn Princess, Flash and Miss Hylton was Super Active Girl. Overall, a superb week, well done Class 3!
