This week in Class 5, we have been reading the book 'Monsterology'. This text is written in the style of an academic journal documenting a scientists discoveries of various monsters. We have been writing our own formal letters and non-chronological reports based on the book.
In maths, we have be learning about the areas of rectilinear shapes and triangles; we now all know the formula for finding the area of a triangle.
In our science lesson, we have been investigating the reproductive parts of a flower. We dissected daffodils and primroses to locate and label the various parts.
We have been discussing the story of Palm Sunday in RE this week; we then thought about what Palm Sunday might look like if it happened today (in modern times).
