Spring 2 Week 5

This week we have been looking at the poem of ‘The Sound Collector’ by Roger McGough. We have learnt how to read it with lots of expression and had a go at acting it out. We had lots of fun! In Maths, Year 1 have been learning about capacity and volume and Year 2 have continued their work on fractions. As part of our PE lessons, we have been learning directional language and using this to help us with orienteering. We are really enjoying this unit. We have now made our clay aliens (clayliens) and are waiting for them to dry so that we can paint them. Well done to Annabelle for winning the 5X reader draw this week!
