This week, we have been reading the book ‘Owl Babies’’ by Martin Waddell. The children have enjoyed learning about nocturnal animals and watching videos of owlets hatching.
In maths, Reception have been weighing different objects in the classroom and talking about what object is the heaviest/ lightest. Nursery have been practising their counting skills and size ordering owls. In phonics, Reception children have been looking at the igh sound and Nursery children have been learning all about alliteration.
It has been a busy fun filled week in Class 1!
