We are really enjoying our ‘Macbeth’ topic.  This week we have continued our descriptive writing.  We have done an extended piece of narrative writing about the scene where Macbeth hears that Banquo’s son is still alive.
In maths we have been adding and subtracting decimals and some children took part in a maths masterclass set by John Taylor - it certainly required all their brain power!

In DT we made bread.  The end results looked and more importantly tasted amazing!  We also learned about the history of bread and looked at some breads from around the world.

In PE we have been developing our cricket skills.  We have been working in small groups to improve our bowling, batting and fielding.  We have made excellent progress.

In RE we have listened to the story of Moses and The Burning Bush.   We had to create a mood graph that showed how emotions changed throughout the story.

IN Science we continued our topic on light and we found that the size of shadow changes depending on how close an opaque object is to a light source.  Do you know how it changes?

I hope you all have a lovely, relaxing bank holiday weekend.
