Image of Class 5 - Summer 1 - Week 2

We have had another fantastic week in Class 5!

In maths we have continued learning about ratio and proportion, using our understanding to problem solve.

We have read more of Macbeth in English and have begun writing a narrative in the same style.

In DT this week, we cooked an apple crumble. All of us helped to peel and cut the apple then we mixed ingredients together to make crumble. It tasted delicious!

In science, we have been experimenting with shadows seeing what happens when we change the distance from a light source to an object. We discovered that the further away the light source from an object, the smaller the shadow was. We also discussed how the sun's location in the sky throughout the day alters shadows on the ground.

This week, Richard Crosse Racing has started back up thanks to Dr Allen. He has been in to work with us, building the car and creating the bodywork.

Feel free to follow our progress on Twitter - @RCrosseRacing
