Year 5 Down on the Farm

We had a great day at Packington Farm this week.  It was really exciting to be able to go on a school trip again.  The trip was part of our geography topic on ‘Food and Farming’.  We had a tractor ride to the education field, where we set up base for the day.  From there we moved into the woods where we had to make dens from natural resources.  It was very competitive and final tests for waterproofing were carried out with a watering can!  Shortly after we did a trail around the Farm and saw some amazing scenery.  After lunch we did orienteering and looked at how foods are harvested.  A big thank you to Roy and Jules for making the day so enjoyable.  We hope you enjoy looking at our photographs.  Have a lovely holiday.
