In Class 5 this week we have begun practising for our year 6 play. Everyone now knows their parts and we have been learning lines, singing and making props.
In RE, we researched Pentecost - the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles. We also learnt about who the apostles were and what they did.
We have been learning about the Mayan civilisation in our history lesson. We found out that the Mayan’s, who once inhabited Mesoamerica, were conquered by the Spanish.
We created our own straw rockets in science and experimented to see how far we could get them to fly.
