Class 2-Summer Term 2 -Week 2

This week, we have again taken full advantage of the beautiful sunshine and have moved our lessons outside where possible. We were very excited to receive some strawberries and were able to enjoy them whilst sitting on the grass outside. Over the week we have been completing of end of year assessments, Miss Derry is very pleased with the progress we have made! In an afternoon, we have been learning about different scientists and have had the opportunity to take part in different experiments. We have loved experimenting with prisms, making telescopes and making our own string telephones. In English, we have had a go at writing our own stories based on Peter Rabbit. Miss Derry thinks that we have used some great descriptions in our writing! Well done to our Star of the Week and to Faith for receiving the 5X reader prize. Another sunny and busy week completed!
