Wow! What a week!
We've been getting creative, painting stones, turning them into mini-beasts and we have been learning all about how healthy plants need soil, light and water to grow. The children have looked at the stages of growth from a tiny seed to a flowering plant. The children have planted seeds with Mrs Partington.
In Math, Reception have been looking at sharing equally and shared leaves amongst the mini-beasts. Nursery have been consolidating their learning about 2D shapes and ordering numbers from 1-10 and beyond!
Madam Elliot taught the children some new French words to describe the seaside.
In music,we listened to the 'Flight of the Bumblebee' by Rimsky Korsakov and learnt to sing, 'There's a worm at the bottom of the garden!'
The children have made mobile gardens and are looking forward to seeing them hanging up outside on Monday.
Keep well everyone! One week to go so let's hope the weather picks up for the holidays.
