We have really settled into the school routine this week now we are back to normal lessons.
In maths, we have been working on place value with numbers to 10 million. This has involved, ordering, rounding and problem solving.
We have begun our topic of narrative writing in English. Our current text is How the Whale Became by Ted Hughes. This text is all about fictional origin stories of how certain animals came to be.
In science, we have started our topic of evolution; this week has involved looking at inheritance - the genes that are passed down from our parents, grandparents etc.
During our art lesson, we practised various skills involved in sketching then drew 3D shapes using the illusion of light.
