Spring Term Week 2

We have worked super hard this week and had lots of fun too! In English, we have been continuing to improve our descriptive writing and have tried hard to use adjectives and noun phrases in our writing. We have also put ourselves in the place of the characters in the book and have written a postcard back home describing our travels. As part of our ICT lesson, we looked at giving precise instructions to make items work properly. We need lots of practise with this, as we made Miss Derry walk into the tables and wall quite a few times! In Maths, Year 2 have been learning about multiplication and the language associated with it. They have had a go at drawing arrays and working out missing number multiplications. Year 1 have been adding and subtracting numbers up to 20 by counting on and back. We have had fun outside, at playtimes, writing messages in the frost on the tables! A great week for Class 2, well done!
