Spring Term 1- Week 2

It’s been our first full week back at school this year and it’s been a great week. In English, we have used drama to empathise with the characters in our book, used inverted commas to show speech and learnt how to use a range of prepositions to up level our writing. In Maths, we have been learning how to multiply and divide a 2-digit numbers by a 1-digit number. To help us, we used place value grids, base ten equipment and part whole models. In Science, we explored the human muscles and how they are used. We made working muscles to show how when one muscle contracts, another relaxes. In Computing, we used the software CS First, provided by Google to code our names in an animated way. Our PE focus this term is dance and we put our rhythm to the test learning a dance to the song ‘Up Town Funk’ by Bruno Mars. Well done Class 3 for a fantastic week. Keep up the hard work.
