This week our focus was on woodland animals and where they make their homes in the woods. We talked about hibernating animals too.
Our main text was 'The Gruffalo' and the children enjoyed making some accompanying sounds with musical instruments for the description of the Gruffalo.
In math we talked about numbers 1-5 and worked on number bonds to 5. The reception children were encourage to count beyond 20.
In art we made owls for our woodland display.
In RE, we discussed what sort of a person Jesus was and why and what God sent him to teach us.
Next week we will be looking and writing about animals in Antarctica and finding out how to build an igloo!
