This week, in Class 3, we have worked really hard to write stories in English describing a hero who defeats a monster. There were so many imaginative ideas and Miss Hylton is super impressed with the children’s stories. In Maths, we have been learning how to divide 2-digit numbers and 1 digit numbers with remainders. We have enjoyed a few practical lessons this week using the base ten and place value counters. In RE, we discussed the meaning of ‘Fisher of Men’ and how Jesus recruited his disciples. In Science, we learnt about the 3 types of skeletons – endoskeletons, exoskeletons and hydrostatic skeletons. It was interesting to learn how some animals have more than one type of skeleton such as a tortoise which has an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton. Well done Class 3, keep up the hard work!
