Spring 1 Week 3

We have had a good week, everyone has come into the week with positive attitudes and a willingness to learn and participate in discussions.

This week we have continued with our Explorer text and have been writing from the perspective of a different character in the book. We have been writing as the Explorer and telling his story.

In maths we have moved onto division and have been practising various methods of dividing by one digit. 

PE has been a mix of gymnastics and dance. In gymnastics we have learnt about balancing and learnt a technique to help us balance without wobbling and falling over. In dance we have learnt some banghra moves and put them, along with other moves that we have learned previously to music when we choreographed our own dances. 
 

In science we have looked at classifying plants this week, we created a classification tree and then sorted a group of plants into different groups according to their characteristics.
