Class 1 Summer term Week 1

Can you spot our dragonflies and frogs in the pictures?
We have been finding out about what creatures can be found in and around our ponds.

We have also talked about water safety! We know that it is important to be accompanied by an adult when near water. I have introduced a chat box giving all the children time to talk and improve their confidence and speaking skills. The children have spoken about dragonflies as well as how to include our friends when playing in and outside of the classroom.

We have also been playing memory lotto! This is to help the grown ups too!

In math we have undertaken lots of activities involving counting and ordering numbers to 20.
