Class 1 Summer-Week 3

We have had an exciting couple of weeks learning about animals. The children have learnt about what pets need to be healthy and happy. This week we have written about safari animals. The children have enjoyed playing in cardboard boats and using binoculars to spot the wild animals.

In math, the children have been practising counting in 5s and 10s to 100.

The children are continuing to prepare art and craft pieces for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Today we visited the local church and found out why people go to church and what can be found inside a church.

The children made me very proud, as they listened carefully, used their good manners and walked sensibly to and from the church. We all had a lovely time.

We are looking forward to pond dipping on Monday.
