Summer Term 2 - Week 3

It’s been another busy week in Class 3! In English, we have started a new narrative topic based around the book ‘A Stone for Sascha’. During lessons, we focused on using emotive language and prepositional phrases. In Maths, Year 4 have started their statistics topics learning how to interpret charts and tables whilst Year 3 have just finished learning their time topic. In DT, we have explored a variety of materials best suitable for making a mini greenhouse. Then, we planned what our greenhouses would look like thinking carefully about the materials and tools we would need. Finally, we enjoyed making our designs in groups and we are excited to see our flowers grow! On Tuesday, we investigated different materials properties using microscopes. We enjoyed working scientifically. Well done Class 3.
