Summer Term 2 Week 4

This week we have been authors in English. We have retold the story of Grandad’s Island, remembering our best handwriting, capital letters, full stops and interesting vocabulary. We then used a purple pen to correct spelling mistakes, punctuation mistakes and even had a go at rewriting a section of our work! We were very happy with the finished pieces. The highlight of our week has been sports day. We loved doing the different activities in the morning. We got to have a go at standing long jump, distance running, javelin, shot put and bean bag throwing. In the afternoon the sun stayed out for us and we took part in lots of different races, watched by our parents. A great day!
