Autumn Term 1 - Week 4

This week, in Class 3, we planned and written our own stories set in a different culture linking to the Egyptian Cinderella. Well done everyone for your hard work and commitment, your first big write in Class 3! In Maths, Year 3 have moved onto addition and subtraction and have learnt how to add and subtract 1s and 10s. Year 4 have been rounding 4-digit numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. In Science, we investigated the most reflective surfaces as well as understanding how shadows are formed. In groups, we sorted objects into opaque, translucent and transparent. In PE, we have started testing our fitness ability through a variety of exercise such as shuttle runs, squats, speed bounces and throwing and catching. Another fantastic week, well done Class 3!
