Autumn Term 1 - Week 5

Class 3 had a super start to the week by visiting various places of worship on our KS2 faith trail trip. We learnt so much about mosques, Hindu temples and Sikh gurdwaras. In English this week, we have started learning about newspaper and their features. Our goal is to write a newspaper articles about the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. In Maths, Year 3 have been learning how to add 1s, 10s and 100s to 3 digit numbers whilst Year 4 have been learning how to add 2, 4 digit numbers using the formal column method. In Science, we have investigated how shadows change when a light source moves away from an opaque object. We then recorded our data in a table and bar chart.

Another busy and fantastic week. Well done Class 3!
